Noise from Driver Side

Lately I've been getting a nice clunk/thunk noise coming from the driver side of my 4Runner. I normally hear it when at slower speeds and braking. It's more prone when turning and braking as if pulling into a parking space. Lately I have heard it after letting off the brakes and moving forward. I just replaced the sway bar end link in that side thinking that was the issue but I still get the noise. Any help? Could the wheel bearing or cv axle be the issue? Caliper?

I sometimes get the driveshaft clunk too but I'm almost 100% certain that's not the issue. The noise is prominite from the driver side wheel well/suspension area. I'll have to get my phone and record it if I can.
 
I have a similar issue I can't seem to figure out. I've tried looking under it while someone slowly drives and turns and can't see anything obvious. The alignment shop said my tierod ends were getting a little loose and needed to be replaced soon so I'm hoping that's going to be it. I am going to order them when I get paid and try to swap them out. I'll let you know if that fixes mine.

Sounds good! Nice 4R too! I like the blue with the cladding
 
Check your alignment bolts for tightness on the lower control arms. I had the same problem recently, the car drove straight and everything but turning sharp and after letting off the brake there would be a loud clunk from the front end. It turned out to be my right side rear lower a-arm adjustment bolt was loose.

Thanks for the info. The noise didn't come on until after I had the lower control arm bushings and cam bolts replaced with moogs and got the alignment so this may be just what the dr ordered.
 
Is the video I uploaded working? I can't view it from my phone, all I see is a small empty box

There's a blue and a green running around here too. Before I bought mine I saw the green one sitting at the local toyota dealership. I called and asked about it and nobody knew about it. So my girlfriend and I went in to see and it turned out to be the sales managers personal vehicle. He wouldn't sell it though...

Can you check these with a standard ratchet?
 
You can see if they are loose with a wrench or ratchet, but if they are loose you need a torque wrench, I believe the spec is 100 FT LBs. Mine was noticeable though, I jacked up each side of the car one at a time and was prying around on stuff and noticed the nut was backed off about an inch.

It was actually not cooperating with me... It's like I knew I had the camera and wouldn't make the noise as loud as normal. Everything looks ok suspension and brake wise.
 
Video works now. Hopefully someone has an idea about what it is. I would be looking/hoping it was suspension, but can't say...
 
So far I've been to the dealer and tires plus, neither can figure out what is causing the noise... This is driving me insane
