Noise from front when turning?

I asked about this a while back and couldn't really get a good answer - mainly because I needed more info.

I finally noticed that the noise I'm hearing (somewhat of a creaking/'ratcheting' noise) comes from the front ONLY when I'm turning a hard right onto something uneven that'll cause the truck to move a bit (such as a curb.) I do have the Tacoma OTRE's/LBJs. Any ideas?

You might need to grease your steering stops. It happened on my runner when i turn all the way to lock right or left. Greased them and the sound went away. Theres a thread on it somewhere I'll try to find it for you

Me too - looks like it's either this, or the OTREs were installed backwards on one (or both) sides when I had them switched out. A rather easy fix either way. Thanks so much for the information.
