My 2003 Limited makes a scraping sound when the weather is under 60degrees. This sound is usually but not always when stopping. Once I am driving along it stops. This sound is intermittent and the colder it is the higher pitched it is.
I have had it in the shop during maintenance and asked to have it checked out. Nobody knows what it is. Anyone have a similar noise? This is the third winter for the noise . I’ve owned the runner since 2014 and it currently has 184k miles on it. Runs great.
