Noise under my left foot

Recently, I noticed a very light thump noise when hitting small washboard ruts and other similar bumps...seems like a CV arm is a little loose or something...like it is in the suspension. Not related to transmission or braking. The thumping or clanking noise can also be felt under my left foot when it rests against the foot rest under the E-brake. Again, it is very subtle, but it is most certainly there and was not before. Rode in my buddy's one-year-old Xterra on the same road and it was tight as hell. Is this a problem or is it normal? What could this be? Could not find anything on here about it...

I've got a similar issue. Very subtle. Left side only. It does not increase with a rougher road but does seem related to left front suspension load. Thought for a second it was a loose wheel bearing but passes the used car salesman wheel bearing test.

How many miles on yours? Let me know if you get it in to the dealer or service shop before I do. Thanks.

6k miles. I won't bother taking it to the dealer unless the wheel falls off:lmao:, they'll only make it worse.

I heard something like it this weekend in mine too, but it could be the AAA batteries my 2 year old stuffed in the AC vents rattling around in there. Definitely subtle.

Nope. Mine wasn't clanking, it sounds like a flag flapping in a strong breeze.

I felt it again today when puling my cargo trailer. It feels like the front left suspension has a loose bolt or something. Happens hen I hit a small pothole or a crack in the pavement. Seems to only happen when I have heavy loads. The first time it happened I had a bunch of gear in the back and loaded roof rack too. I am at a point where I am not going to do anything about it probably.

I was having a noise up front going over bumps. Took it to the dealer and they traced it to a loose bolt on the rear sway bar where it connects to the right side of the axle. How a rear sway bar bolt can make noise that appears to come from the front is beyond me but so far the sound is gone.

I have a very similar noise coming from my left front. '11 TE w/ KDSS. Did you ever get this resolved?
