noise when backing up

I know my power steering pump is going i can hear it whining, but I dont know where to start looking for a noise i hear only when i back up and cut it hard to the left out of the driveway. going forward it does not make this noise. Any thoughts? Noise comes from drivers side front wheel.

Without hearing it, it's all just a guess. But I'll guess that it's tire rub, due to oversize tires, different offset wheels, and/or sagged springs.
