Non-JBL Navigation Installation Guide

I recently purchased an E7019 nav unit for my non-jbl 2005 4runner. I know this is a common install for 4th gens, but i've searched the forum for an installation guide and havent found one.

Has someone already put an install guide together, or is there a post that already explains this? And if not, would anyone be willing to provide a quick step by step guide I can follow? Any help is greatly appreciated!

My biggest concern is the wiring.

1. Will the wiring harness on my single disc changer plug directly into my nav unit...will I need any sort of adapter or will i have to do any splicing?

2. I also have the GPS antenna. how is this installed?

3. Do I need to tap into the VSS? If so, how?

Anything else i might not be thinking of?

Sounds like it should be plug and play. Not sure about the GPS. Try downloading the FSM and looking into the wiring.
