i'm trying to figure out if the connectors found in non-JBL stereos are the same in model years 03-04 and 07+. based on some of the diagrams found here, it looks like they are similar, but i cannot tell if they are the same or not.
i'm trying to add a backup camera on an e7019 nav model (no backup camera plug) to my 07 using the navtool product, a plug and play unit which works by plugging into one of the stock white connectors. i was able to find their website, but for an 07, they want $405; whereas in an 03-04 model year, they are asking $205. huge price difference. i questioned them about this, and their reasoning was to rid the older model years (03-04) and make way for their newer products (07+).
any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
