Non Toyota Seafoam question

I suppose this could go in a different section, but I know you guys. I want to be sure I understand the use of seafoam correctly.

#1-Through the brake booster vaccum line, it cleans the air intake systems.

#2-Through the crank case it cleans the engine.

#3-In the fuel it cleans the fuel system.

Does that sound right to you guys? I've read all the threads, I just want to be 100% sure.

Through the brake booster it should clean everything under the valve cover, right? Cam and valves and rocker assembly and such? That was my understanding, anyway.

Just from my experience using seafoam...

#1. I find it easier to use a small vacuum line instead of the brake booster vacuum line. When I used the brake booster vacuum line (on my '86 Celica), it created too much of a vacuum leak where it end up stalling the engine. Unless, you manually hold the throttle open enough to prevent it from stalling; so having two people definitely makes it easier. So instead; if you use one of the many smaller vacuum lines, you won't have to worry about holding the throttle open and you can do it by yourself.

#2. As for putting seafoam into the oil; I have never bothered. Correct me if I am wrong (lol); but I believe the main purpose in putting it into the crankcase is to remove moisture and doesn't actually have any other effect. Again, I may be wrong but this is what I have heard. It also thickens the oil over time which means you have to do an oil change soon after. Therefore, if you have just done an oil change I wouldn't bother.

#3. Yes, if added to the fuel tank; it cleans the whole fuel system out.
