MaxTrax Mount

Just finished my maxtrax mount. I bought some straight steel and maxtrax mounts. Used the existing bar mounts that came with the 4runner. I think they are custom.

Drawers

Ok, here is the drawer system i built about 4 months ago. Complete with attachment to turn it into a sleeping platform, cooking pull out and weatherproof top.

I will add some more photos next time the weather lets up.

Skids and stuff

This weekend stepped up and finished a few projects

RCI skid plates
Cargo Net Mod
replaced hatch lights with some new LEDs
Started the wiring for Hood and rock lights (didn't finish)

Also had MULE throw in a new winch. Thanks Jon

For the skids i watched SwellRunner's install video. made it super easy. Whole thing only took a couple hours.

New Winch

The folks over at MULE just put in a new winch for me. So thankful. Not a project i was super excited (or talented enough) to take on. Only downside, I alredy want to blackout the warn logo and replace the fairlead, it is a disease.

Cargo Net Mod

Cargo Net mod was a complete copy of this Post

I swapped out the clips for these, added a few bungees for support and cut out a bit of the elastic to give it a bit more structure.

Everyone else online seems to still have a bit more tension, i will do some more tweaking to keep the net from sagging

Updated Hatch lights (again)

I originally swapped out all my interior LEDs with phillips but was not thrilled with the hatch lights. But now, i picked up these lights for the hatch are at least 2x the LEDs i had in their previously, super happy.

Very nice rig. I haven't seen it around town yet. I'm mostly around the southend of downtown; Chinatown, sodo, beacon hill.

More weekend Funness

Few things accomplished today.

Finished the under hood lighting
Unbadged the winch
Replaced exhaust hanger, No More rattles

below are the winch and exhaust hanger

here is the exhaust hanger i used. Much better than spacers on the skids in my opinion. You only need one on the driver side hanger

Also managed to get out to Leavenworth with the family

Under hood lighting

Super easy mod

Lights
Fuse holder
Small fuse
some leftover speaker wire
tilt switch
butt connectors
tape, strippers, heat gun, etc

first things first, mount the lights
View attachment 284563

Run the wire down the hood liner, around the hinge, under the fender plastic to the battery
View attachment 284564

Attach the tilt switch mid way on the hood. I am not a huge fan of this tilt. It needs to be completely flat to turn off. I compensated for this by adding extra mounting tape towards the front. This helped angle it down.
