Picked this up yesterday! 98 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Limited. 3.4 V6 with only 113K miles! Has been maintained from the reports that I pulled on Carfax as well as the included documentation. I have been lurking around this forum for the past few days and tried to look this thing over from top to bottom and not get any surprises. Only thing I really found was the dash clock doesn't work...mainly because it isn't there lol!

Already looking at lift kits and armor. Trying to figure out if piecing together a lift out of Tundra and Land Cruiser parts would be better than a Sonoran Steel or OME kit. Also looking at bumpers from ARB and CBI. I will add more pictures tomorrow. For now this is all that I have.

Figured out I would update this as I finally got a chance to do a few things.

Took off the running boards, added 2000 model headlights, and installed 265x75x16 BFG AT KO2's.

Hey man! I'm in Spartanburg too if you ever want to go wheeling or need help messing with anything. nice to see some more T4Rs in the upstate.

Hey guys, also a new gen3 owner and also in SPTBG. Planning brake upgrade and OME install in the next few weeks. Wife and I are headed west for 4-5 wks come June so trying to get the truck built and prepped by then! SUPER clean 98' btw. Any rust?

No rust at all! Does have a little ding in the right front fender, but nothing too crazy. Glad to see there are a few other T4R members around the upstate!

I did get the lift installed today as well! This thing ride a ton better!
