Noob lift question

Hey guys, ive been lurking on here for awhile and just signed up a couple weeks ago. I have and 02 Sport that is my daily driver with 163***. My heres what i got, im thinking of doing the 99 tall springs with trekmasters, I assume I have to order yr 99 shocks for them too fit? what do you guys think? id love to hear recomendations and opinions!!

Go look at Sonoran Steel, they have a complete kit with everything you would need including the proper trek,aster shocks and '99 tall springs.

Personally IF I was to do a 99 tall coil lift I would buy all new coils.

Used ones will sag if they haven't already.

With that said. I believe that there are better lifts out there. The Tundra TRD coils and Old Man Emu 890 for example.

THE one thing that I wish I did when I started lifting was to do an adjustable Coilover front. This way I could dial in the exact lift and it could grow with the change of rear coils.

I also wish I would have started big and not build my way up.

The thought of tundra 5100's makes me drool, i would love to have a 2.5" lift like that, im running 265/75/16s, what do you think i would spend on that set up? and run the 5150 billys in the back?

Get the ome lift its not much more than buying stock springs and shocks

You can buy some used TRD and OME coils.

I have a pair of OME 891 coils for sale. They are heaver duty than the 890. they will give you ~3" of lift in back.

I managed to find a set of non-saggy 99 springs from a local forum member. In the same cheapskate vein, I did not replace the presumed original 180k shocks, just the springs. No problems here, but I've got a '97.

If you decide to do the 99 springs, be realistic about how much weight you are going to carry on a regular basis. My 99 rears (new) looked sagged after a very short time compared to my front (used). I had maybe 100lbs of tools and gear that I kept at the back of the rear seat.

Mom hates the fact that im putting so much money into it as it is, so the cheapest price for the best ride quailty and performance is what im looking for. Ive always wanted a lifted ride, but both my first vehicals were fully coil sprung.$$$

Stick figure, i probably have about 50 pounds in there all the time, and a rola rack in the mail, in the summer time ill have all my fishing stuff in there too.. and i tow often..

Just for reference, here's the '99 springs/old shocks sag-factor with approx. 250lbs of cargo, dogs, and kid in the back.

I would do at least OME 906 in the rear with the 99 front then. Unloaded you should have a bit of rake, loaded you'll probably sit level.

I did the 890's prepping to tow my Supra out from the midwest, after I was done towing, the rake with the 99 fronts bothered me enough to make some 1/2" top out spacers (roughly 1" lift) to even things back out some.
