Hey how do you like your AVS visors? Any road noise? What was the model you wound up getting?
Wow loving your build and adventures! I can't wait till I start adding onto my rig. I just ordered Method Standard Rims 17inch with Nitto Grapplers G2s. I also have a Trail Premium but I didn't opt for the KDSS. I heard if you are going to lift your T4R that the KDSS will get in the way or limit the height of the lift? Anyone know if this is true? or should I be regretting not opting for the KDSS? Sorry Off Road noob here. Keep modding!

Orange box racks
How do you like the orange box racks? I am tempted to get one even after the thread about the horrible customer service. I'm just worried about rattling and noise from the rack only plan on putting an extinguisher tool bag and flashlight on it so not much weight. I just can stand rattling inside the cabin.

Like them so far. No issues or noticeable road noise. I believe they are advertised as AVS Low Profile visors.

I believe KDSS will get in the way when trying to go any higher than 4" or going mid/long travel. It really just depends on what your plans are and if are planning on doing any sort of extended travel suspension. So far, KDSS has been working well for me and hasn't impeded my offroad ability whatsoever.

I like them but you will get noise either from the rack or from the items mounted to the rack. The design only has 2 points which are bolted down which allows for some flex of the bracket the rack is mounted on. Unless you secure it by maybe drilling a hole in the rear panel to mount a third point. I'm currently using some flexible gear ties to hold it to the rear cargo mount hooks. Works for me, but still have noises while offroading. Doesn't really bother me though.
I'm planning on doing a 3" Icon Suspension lift in the future. I was just told to not get it due to it hindering the lift process. I really hope I didn't miss out. Like I said I am an off road Noob. Also thank you for the quick reply!

At 3" you could have gone with KDSS without any issues but I wouldn't worry too much about it. At the end of the day you have vehicle thats extremely capable with or without KDSS.
This is true I LOVE my 4runner! Just ordered Method Standards Rims and Nitto Grappler G2 tires yesterday!

Installed my RCI steel gas tank skid and lower link skids. Should make good use of em in the next couple months. The last piece left I need is a rear diff skid.

haha thanks. The OMEs have been pretty good so far. Though I haven't really ridden offroad in another rig with anything else so I can't compare them from personal experience. They seem like they're holding up to all the abuse pretty good too.

in a perfect world i'd roll with DirtKing upper control arms, Kings all around, and Dobinson rear springs....your 4runner looks perfect functionally and aesthetically though. without being over the top. wheel spacers and trail wheels is a solid combo IMO:fro:

Can't make up my mind on skids! RCI or Shrockworks...(I'm aware of the threads already created on the matter)
My Kings are on order and should be here in the next 3-4 weeks. I'll be running the DK UCAs w/ the Kings extended travel remote resi. Also, OME 2896s in the rear for the extra weight I'll be adding to Fionna (my 4runner).
