How much vibration do you get with this? I have one and it's very annoying. I took it out, re-tightened everything down, bent the bracket a little so it was more flush with the floor, but it still vibrates a ton when driving. I am going to try to bend it so a lot of the arm is braced along the center console to see if that helps.

haha not really, just lucky I guess. Gotta keep an eye on the SCS Instagram for the next release. I'd recommend contacting them and they can give you a better idea on when they'll be receiving that specific wheel. I was debating on matte gunmetal also.

Mine is as you said, bent in a way that it is putting pressure against the center console. I've had it like that since the initial installation and have a little bit of vibration but nothing that isn't bearable.

Following your build for awhile and I must say it's like you are pulling all my mod ideas out of my head, exact copy of what I want! I do have a question though, I am looking to mount my CVT RTT on my Thule bars. Did you ever feel unsafe or unstable with it mounted that way? I've read nothing but conflicting opinions on if its safe or not. This would only be for a long weekend trip here and there, sticking to mostly FS roads. thanks!

I never felt unsafe or unstable at all. I used only 2 bars for a while and then added 2 more for a total of 4 just so I could spread the load a little bit better. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that setup to anyone. I don't see why it would be unsafe as long as everything is mounted and tightened properly.

Appreciate the quick response! Some people comment on the roof rails not being able to handle the weight so I wanted some first hand experience.

Bumper, winch, and wheels installed.




Some things that I learned from the install, a Warn Zeon 10-S winch doesn't fit exactly with the Shrockworks bumper. The housing is a little too big. To get it to fit, we used the stock bottle jack to bend the inner bumper plate a little bit just enough to fit and match the contour of the winch. I was also able to install the winch without relocating the control box. Had to modify the hood latch support and lower/reroute the power steering line.





I used a heat gun to soften the fender liners and was able to fold them into the bumper.





Thanks to [MENTION=44305]weeeee[/MENTION] and the rest of my friends who helped me with the install. Wouldn't have been able to get this beast on myself.

Loving the progress on the rig man! I am planning a big road trip out west towards the end of the year and would love to meet up with some of you guys in the area and hit up some trails or at least get a photo op of the rigs!

Not sure. The aux plug for this speaker is only single prong. I know the baofeng has double prong on the side, but that might be one for speaker and another for mic so it might work.

OME 886 heavy springs went in on the front along with Total Chaos UCAs. Haven't gotten an alignment yet but the truck feels much more stable with the added caster.






Also installed a Pelfrey Bilt battery cage. Hopefully it holds up well, seemed a little flimsier than I expected.

Met up with [MENTION=123976]4Running303[/MENTION] at McQueen Prototype Design and installed our fiberglass fenders along with my safari snorkel And yes, bigger tires are coming soon.
