I don't care where. We can do something really really tame and easy, or we can pick something a bit more challenging.
Just putting the feelers out. Otherwise I'm going out on my own. I have to work all day Sat. so was thinking somewhere Sunday. If no one has suggestions, I'll go through my off road books and try to find a trail that's centeral to all of us up here in Northern CA to travel to.

Well yet again...same old story. Work has totally messed with my play time. I ended up working a 16 hour shift yesterday and today I feel just sapped. I've only been out of bed for an hour and I want to go back to bed.
I promise guys, I'll get to work on planning a safe tame trip, with maybe only some very small normal rocks or some whoop-de-doos to drive over. That way those of you who have never really put it into 4Lo on DIRT before, can drive on your own. This will be good practice for me, planning a run, since I'm going to be taking over the SUV trips for the 4x4 club I've joined.
Speaking of never putting it into 4Lo, please go out and make sure your's works now. Put it in neutral, and turn the knob to 4Lo. Once the little green light stops blinking, the hubs have locked and then you can shift it into Drive. Have a firm press on the brake, as since the 4Lo is such a powerful pull, the 4Runner gets excited. Well Ruffian does anyway. She grunts and leaps into the harness like a Draft Horse leaning into the collar for the heavy pull! It's so cool! I love Ruffian...she's all horsepower!
