It's gotta be way longer than 2 hours. It takes me almost 2 hours to get to Vallejo from lake county. I use to live in grass valley and Nevada city. Hell of a drive just to meet some people and drive home if you ask me.

An hour and 45 my house to pleasant hill,(that's if traffic isn't crappy and that's not going the speed limit.) I've got family down there. Yea, it's still a hike...

I wouldn't mind meeting up with you guys on one of these. I tend to work and stay at times in Antioch if your doing this around Walnut Creek area.

I have no problem giving a hand either, not afraid of getting my hands dirty, unless my gen4 isn't in your guys league and shouldn't be seen by gen3's.

I still have my 06 that is on wifey DD duties.
I don't mind giving a hand with installing parts. Just dont want to be the guy that gets suckered in to "helping" while the owner stands back and drinks beer and eats nachos... :boxing:
I would love to do a longer trip but with a preggo wife at home, its tough to get aways for overnight runs when she can't come with. For now i'm pretty much limited to Hollister just to get in the dirt. Haven't been to carnegie but I'm not sure how much is out there besides some mud holes and rock piles. Could be wrong though.

carnegie is not worth the drive, it's great for dirt bikes but the 4x4 area is a joke, i think the play ground at hollister is bigger than the whole carnegie 4x4 area.

Ya thats what I figured... Any where else east of Modesto that might be of interest?
Should only be a couple hours that way. Would be nice to find something in the sierras without the 3.5-4 hour drive to tahoe.
Frank reigns is all mild trails and hill climbs from what I have read as well.

Frank raines is mostly mud and loose dirt, too many ruts to make it fun. hollister is still the most well maintained ohv park around here, someone was suggesting cow mountain but that's way too far imo.

Cow mountain from what I heard is a bunch of really overgrown trails with a lot of expected pin stripping. Isn't that out by mono lake in Nevada on the south east side of Tahoe???

it's almost 2 hour drive above SF, i rather go to eagle lakes or signal peak, its only 2 hours for me.
haha yeah links are easy, im trying to sound deaden the rear cargo area, so that'll be fun to do on a mod day.

No big parts changes for me right now. Need to get my heimed upper rear links swapped in and the lowers pulled out so I can chop the poly bushing off and swap over to heims. Too much axle side shift on articulation and it is destroying the bushings....
