yeah, hopefully you don't get too much noise on street driving, i heard they are pretty noisey.

I can deal with a little noise. They shouldn't clunk at all. If they start squeaking I can add some lube to them.
I already have heims on the axle end. After the second trip out, the polys were already torn. I'm looking at longevity and the lack of maintenance I can look forward to with heims. I don't mind changing them out every 3 years or so but I don't want to deal with torn bushings every trip.

I'd like to check out Eagle Lakes and Signal Peaks trails. I still need a solid day or 2 to wrench on my rig before wheeling. It's pretty much Sat since my Rubi trip in Nov.
My valve cover gasket is toast and I can't stand the burn oil smell anymore. I"ve had the parts for months but can't seem to find the time to wrench on her.

O well, this will be a quick lift install and I will probably won't have a ton of time to hang around, so no worries.
Ok, I'll try to make it on the 26th as that works good with me too.

Thanks I have more than that do but that's the one that's annoying me the most. I hate the smell of burning oil, I know it's common but I equate it with it not being well maintained.
I have to swap out my OTRE since I still have a trail spare on there, fix my banged up diff plug and replace it with a low profile, refill diff fluid, touch up my skids so they don't start rusting, vacuum a few inches of dirt out of it and maybe give it a bath. I'm kinda reaching at some stuff to do but I just feel like I rode her hard and put her away wet from my last trip since it has been pretty much sitting in front of my house. I kinda just want to play with her a little bit
I'm also supposed to go over to one of the guys on TTORA and he is gonna help me build a diff skid so I don't rip out my drain plug again. Thanks for the offer on the help, i may hit you up since I've never done the VC on this before but seems pretty straight forward. My biggest issue is trying to find some free time.. between kids, house projects and playoff football I'm struggling with priorities lol.

Negatory. Swapped axle but the one I put in had 2 bad wheel bearings and blown seals. I'm still driving it but not very much. I have a couple of jobs comin up so I can order the parts. Also gonna finally do the lbj's 250k on the original ones. I'm honestly a little proud but scared at the same time

Ball joints won't be much but the wheel bearings gonna take day and some.Gotta take them out go to napa have my buddy do them then take them back up home. Might be able to do it in a day but most likely loose light.

for....wheel bearings? i gotta do the rear so im takin them to my buddy who owns TEM machine. he will do them for a fair price and can save pretty much all the retainers and such

damn i shoulda called you when i had to do mine, i had to get a puller made to pull the abs ring off along with retainers.

haha i bought all the parts for it last time and he handed most of them back and said return these and ill probably give you these to return as well. oh did i mention he is a master of his trade and i cant remember the numbers exactly but he was the first to build a 900hp honda b18. if i had the money to get my motor built id send it to him.
