Nor Cal (Bay Area) Lift/Meet & Greet

Unacceptable! I guess we can change the location to your wedding :party:, but only if you have an open bar. Count me out if I have to pay for my own drinks. :sniper: Also my invitation must have gotten lost in the mail. I thought one day of wheeling guaranteed a wedding invite. ;):

Yeah a wheeling trip will be in order as well. Late August would work with me and I should have my tires on by then. Congratulations and good luck!

Nice, my family has a cabin up at Pinecrest. I'm hoping to get up there and wheel a little after my lift is on. We will definitely have another meet or wheeling trip before summer is over.
 
Good idea SC runner. I won't be able to meet up for the garage day, but would love to connect for some wheelin trips.

I'm headed up to the downieville area the weekend of July 23rd. And then going to do an expedition type drive from Downieville to Milsap Bar up above Lake Oroville the first weekend of August. They will all be family type trips with my 5 month old and wife, so nothing too crazy.

Just begining to figure these drive out, so nothing set in stone and not ready to be tour guide.

Has anyone else done trips in these arees?
 
Ok, well we have confirmed the date to be July 30 (Sat) in Walnut Creek at bikerjosh's place. I will send out the address and time closer to the date, once people have confirmed their attendance. Should be a fun time and hopefully we can get a good turnout.

Also should we invite some of the other gen's as well or just keep it 3rd. I don't know how much space Josh has either.
 
I'd like to stop by to say hello to everyone! And I also wanna see those nice 4runners.
Let me know the definite time and place of the meet. (:
 
i think we should invitre all t4rs? stock modded old new, the more the marrier?

if anyone is interested we can take a 20 min drive to vallejo and i can take everyone to a lil off road track they have here in vallejo? legal of course, pose for flex pix. its a few square acres, not huge...but should be fun for first timers and stock guys:)

and its right next to a wing stop!

Yeah I'm down, but I just have to check with Josh to make sure we can fit all the 4runner's in the same place. We have about 8 now so I don't want things to get too crowded if the area around the place is small. Once I hear from him I will start a new thread in the general section.

I definitely would want to head out to the track as long as my lift is on. It would be nice to flex out the new suspension. I can't turn down wings either.

The list has been updated will everyone that has confirmed. Looking forward to it.

Wow, lots of responses.

So as Eric pointed out I have room for 2 t4r's behind the gate close to garage(we should reserve those spots for the more complex projects, lifts etc) and one space in front of the gates. There is street parking which is likely where my t4r, miata and commuter will be.

If we're gonna have this many folks, I might need to fire up the grill for lunch and do some burgers/dogs. Might have to hold off on the adult beverages if we're traveling afterwards or for those that are working with t4r's on jack stands.:thumb3:
 
I can bring some grilling stuff and other items if people are planning on sticking around for a while. I was planning on holding off on the adult beverages because I have to drive back home. We can arrange food once we know when people are coming over and how many.

LOL one day of wheeling = blood brothers no? Especially since you helped dig me out of that ravine I slid into.

Good luck with your lift, i'm bummed I'm gonna miss this but if it's a good turn out then it shows there is a strong Nor Cal presence and we should be able to organize a nice trip this year.

BTW do you still have that single 5star rim you were trying to sell? Send me a PM if you do.

but may have to skip the vallejo excursion. Looking forward to installing the cooler. I'd be happy to bring some BBQ eats. Polishs sound Ok?
