Got the 34s, well 285/75/17s. Zero issues with rubbing at flex and full lock after some cutting and heat gun action. Thank you to [MENTION=415906]Sparky 97Runner[/MENTION] for the garage and the tools.

They match the 5th gen so well, they look and perform awesome.

Oh, they will rub. Trail flex will show, but if you clear now, it should be minimal. Looks good [emoji106]

Thank you, so far so good, flexed on PC and did Corral Hallow and Sourgrass with the creek crossing, no rubbing, at least no clean spots or sounds. I did heat and push back the rear liner, cut the crap out of the front, no issues with pinch weld or the plastic cap on bottom rear wheel well.

Did a quick impromptu to trip to Hwy 4 with [MENTION=415906]Sparky 97Runner[/MENTION]. We hit up Corral Hollow and then Sourgrass. Sparky doubled as a spotter and camera man, tough job My first time crossing that creek out of 3 times I've been to Sourgrass.

Bit curious who would be down for a wheeling trip in the next 3 weeks.

Anyone know what that clicking sound is towards the end of the vid?

Not in sac anymore, but it's pretty straight forward. Just takes a few cutting discs. You can rent an angle grinder for Home Depot.

Yeah...I'm planning on doing the run from Robinson Flat Campground to Soda Springs on Sept 20th. Hoping the closure doesn't extend til then, and for no more fires.

Yeah...I'm planning on doing the run from Robinson Flat Campground to Soda Springs on Sept 20th. Hoping the closure doesn't extend til then, and for no more fires.

I hope it's open by then, that's one of my favorite day trips. I'm guessing that you could drive down Soda Springs road right now despite the forest being technical closed. Does anyone know what they mean by "closed". Campgrounds, day use, hunting, hiking trails, etc all closed? They obviously cant close down all roads in the forest.

Depends on what the forest order says. But in this case as @%1;posted, yes, it’s all closed. Steep penalties for violators …. But beyond that - not respecting the closures is how trails and things get closed permanently.

Sounds good, if the forests reopen per order, but let's move it up a week to Oct 2nd. Would love to try doing Signal Peak with the hard way, but with people that have done it before. I should have my full armor underneath by then and the Ridge Grapplers have over performed so far.

A question for you...I've never done that run yet, but very exited to. My rig is cherry...any chances of getting scratched or banged up on Soda Springs Rd? I'm pretty much bone stock...
