Ruffian, apologies for the non-response, I'm in mountain view and would love to roll up for a day of wheelin' with you. Sundays are great although it sounds like you will be scheduled now? I have tons of vacation time, and willing to use it for a Monday trip too...

I am getting a Toytec 3" lift on Tuesday and replacing my stock dunlops (51K) on Wednesday - gotten stuck a couple times at Hollister with the low ground clearance on my '04 but otherwise she is a rock.

Unfortunetly my new schedule really sucks, but I can look forward to the next shift change. I don't know now what's going on with the Greenhorn day. Sounds like the complainers have got the LEO's up in arms. It may just end up being an "alone" day, just my Ruffian, my rifle, and me.

No worries on making it up. That's a long drive for you. I will be taking over the SUV runs for the 4WD club, and I have plans on making some runs down in the Bay. I want to do a campover weekend somewhere we can wheel on the beach or at least near by. And/or a campover out in the Hollister Hills. Keep and eye out for my posts here. You bet I'll put a thread up for each SUV run I plan. Regardless of what location we will be at. And if there is someone out there that is afraid to test their 4x4 skills, all you have to do is ask to ride shot gun.

Speaking of education in driving 4x4, the Mountain Goats will still be hosting the Off Road Safety Clinics at Prairie City Park. There is going to be one in April and I'll post more on that elsewhere. But for now, here's some clips from one last year that one of the local TV stations sent out their ultimate girly-girl to drive. Just to show ya how easy it is....lol.

I just bought a 97 limited. I'm looking to 4x4 in the bay area, even nevada if I can get some people to come with and share gas expenses.

I am planning on heading to sequoia national park next week after seeing pics of it on here.

Ok guys. With ya all or with out. I'm going wheeling out towards Foresthill Sunday. I'm driving until I find snow or until legally I can't drive any further.
This is the road. Let me know if any of the locals want to tag along. I'll need to know if you want me to bring my FSR's so we can chat on the radio.
