Signal Peak Run 11/24/2019

Hi All -
Putting together a last minute run... this Sunday 11/24/2019 ... going to run Signal Peak from Eagle Lakes side.

7:45 am - Meet at Starbucks in Sac. (8393 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95826)

8:00 am - Caravan to trail head (I'll be rolling slower than normal so I'm allowing more time than usual)

~10:00 am - Meet at staging area / trail head (on Carlyle Rd, just past Indian Springs campground: N39° 19' 53.9", W120° 34' 21.5" aka 39.331639, -120.572639)

~10:15 am - Hit the trail

We should be off the trail by 3:00 or 4:00 pm or so (depending on how long we stay at the peak).

I'm much more available 11/29-12/1 as well. I was planning on going out and camping somewhere but haven't solidified a location yet.

Cool... well, if your headed up HWY4, HWY50, I80... we should definitely plan something. I've some how managed to arrange both weekends free from family obligations and what not (although I'm sure I'm paying for it somehow).

What are you thinking you want to do?

With respect, I just did the Signal Peak trail. Is there anywhere else that you would want to go that isn't Signal Peak?

With respect, I just did the Signal Peak trail. Is there anywhere else that you would want to go that isn't Signal Peak?

Schallenberger ridge trail?
Emigrant Canyon to Schallenberger Ridge - Truckee 4x4 Trail

Iron Mountain/Abandoned Ski Resort?

Soda Springs?

Go left instead of right onto Signal Peak from the Indian Springs camp site

The very beginning of fordyce trail
I don’t even think it’s called fordyce trail at that point
But the trail does split to where you can get to the lake before things start to get harder.
Still same area as signal peak
Just take a left at staging area instead of a right.
