NorCal South Bay Area Mod Day 11/9

I'm seeing if there is any interest in a mod day at [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION]'s place in Santa Clara this Sunday 11/9. Figured we'd meet around 9 or 10 and get some random items done and BBQ as well. Trying to keep this light so no lifts unless you can handle it yourself or with limited help.

Naturally since it will be at my house.... I am in!!!!

Last time was fun... We did a lift, body lift and can't remember what else but always good to meet up with some like minded RNR buddies



Burgers beans chips sausage and beer worked out well last time... any other ideas??

I'm in like flynn.
I'll bring power tool and whatever other shop tools I manage to snag.
If anyone needs any specialty tools for anything, let me know and I will bring them!
 
Can you bring your lift so I can do my power steering rack easier...? Man that would be nice to have. I'll either be doing my power steering rack or body lift there.

Let's do both! I bet we can knock the body lift out in an hour and the rack in another. Bonus: bring it by the shop and ill align it for you :P

Should be doing my body lift as well.

Sounds about right. My first time took way too long but I had to deal with my steering shaft stuck to the rack so it should be a lot smoother this time.

Haha I will try for the rack first Ecuador that is a priority but if I have time I'll do the body lift. It's just the 1/2" so should be quick and easy.

I got the lifetime alignment so I'm good on that front, thanks for the offer. Where is your shop anyways?

San Bruno, right by the airport and even closer to all the airport parking.

I'll bring the steering wheel leveler tool, just to make sure it stays centered all the time for your rack.

I'm gonna make sure I have all my interior dissassembled before getting there; should make it nice and smooth.
I'll also be bringing my power drill, various bits and step-bit, mostly so I can get my front bumper positioned back up but anyone else is free to use them.



I'll see if I can bring some of the pumpkin ale my dad and i brewed a month ago, seen in this picture :)
If not, I'll bring beer of another kind and some chips as well.

Have you posted in the 4th, 5th and classic 4runners forums? Lots of other guys with older and newer runners in the bay area!
Oh and the norcal forums too.

Also if a mod wants to move this to the general discussion section I wouldn't be apposed.
