say WHHAAAAAA?? Didn't even know about this NorCal section. I'm in north Sac, Carmichael area. I see people are going on runs and what not. Right now I'm 'grounded' as my tires are bald and my lift/new tires are currently being shipped. After everything is installed, I'll be up and ready for going out on train runs again. Def subscribing.

Yo Everybody!

I'm a new 4Runner owner based in Oakland. Picked up a Brand new Trail edition this past November and other than a new Bajarack.

I'm blessed/cursed with many expensive creative pursuits (photography/woodworking, etc) so I have to spend wisely. I'm currently driving a mall crawler but I plan to make small modifications over the next few years until the stock tires are worn.

When it's time to buy new ones I will pick up some 33's (leaning towards BFG KO2's) and get the 4Runner lifted.

In the mean time I will get out to Hollister Hills this summer, and am open to other suggestions that are in a reasonable drive from the Bay Area, at least for my first few off off road adventures.(any suggestions?)

The guys at the Chop Shop are pretty good guys. They work with a lot of jeeps, although the owner does have a 5th gen his wife drives. Had them swap the springs on my front coils several months back.

Hollister this Saturday 4/16

Hey everyone , a few friends are heading out to Hollister this Saturday . If you are interested in going , you are welcome and invited . We are coming from Redwood City , and plan to meet at the Shell in Hollister at 9:30am.

The plan is to wheel from about 10am- 4 , with some time at the obstacle course and then on some trails . Nothing too crazy , mostly just a hang out and have fun . Weather should be warm and beers will be cold . Hit me up if you are interested or look for my 4Runner down there and say hi ....

Here's 1/2 of my Toyota family on the day of the new T4R purchase. She's a '14 SR5 with bilsteins, KO2s and upgraded brakes... Hoping to add some fun mods in the future, but its the wife's DD so we shall see.

Not dark grey, but the rest of description fits mine. Wheels are all-black now. I'm from the south bay area, live in Sac now, but often back to visit.
