I have a 2007 Sport Edition with 152,000. I had my alternator changed a few months ago and ever since it seems like the RPMs and shift points are different.
At 70 MPH it runs around ~2000-2100 RPMS.
When shifting it usually shifts around 1500 RPMs and when shifting from 3-4 or 4-5 it shifts around 2000 RPMs and I feel like I have to let off the gas a little to get it to shift. Maybe I am just paranoid.
What are your normal RPMs at 70 MPH and normal shift points?
FYI - I have had the truck since 89,000 and think the transmission fluid was changed once before I got it. I've never had it changed and someone told me hard shifting wouldn't be resolved by changing the fluid?
I'm good with computers, not vehicles, so any advice is appreciated.
