Nortex (slow) build thread

I really like it. It is just a good clean build. I wish i had the all black cladding like yours. I had the silver rack, like yours, but replaced it with a black round bar rack from a Urban Runner. I also had the silver grill, door handles and rear hatch piece that i painted black. If it were only as easy to paint this gray cladding.....lol....:art: I had thought about going with black Method wheels, but am really glad i went with the polished. White letters out as well! Keep it up. Looks good!

Good thing about the stock running boards is that they attach to the bottom of the body instead of the frame, so no matter how big of a body lift you went with the running boards would have the same spacing in relation to the body. If you had sliders welded on the frame, then put a body lift, the space between the body and the sliders would be the same as the amount of body lift....if that makes sense....lol

Happened to me... Gotta move my sliders up a tad now... PITA

whats your fender measurements? from the ground preferably. Im thinking my front end is sagging pretty bad (100k)

What would be popping on my front end? It does it under slow braking and a slow or still turn. Doeant pop on bumps or going down the road. The only thinh I can see are my sway endlinks are ripped up. Could or would that be it.

You say that like its a bad thing!

With stock springs and shocks with a DS 2.5/1.5 kit, yeahhhhh it's a bit sketchy haha. Might end up hearing a big ping/bang/hiss and needing a new shock.

Also, with such a little lift and 265/70's, there might be so much stuffing it won't even be funny. I still rub when I brake and turn with my 285/70/17 Duratracs, gotta keep trimming my fenders lol

i feel 265/70 isnt stuffing at all. Not to mention most you can achieve without stressing your CVs and Ball Joints is an inch higher, i dont see a need to go too much higher anyway.

But thats me.
