Good thing about the stock running boards is that they attach to the bottom of the body instead of the frame, so no matter how big of a body lift you went with the running boards would have the same spacing in relation to the body. If you had sliders welded on the frame, then put a body lift, the space between the body and the sliders would be the same as the amount of body lift....if that makes sense....lol

With stock springs and shocks with a DS 2.5/1.5 kit, yeahhhhh it's a bit sketchy haha. Might end up hearing a big ping/bang/hiss and needing a new shock.
Also, with such a little lift and 265/70's, there might be so much stuffing it won't even be funny. I still rub when I brake and turn with my 285/70/17 Duratracs, gotta keep trimming my fenders lol
