Not another P0174 and P0171 Thread

OK, it kind of is. After vanquishing this foe almost two years ago it’s back. This time I have a new theory based on this thread in the Lexus forum:

In this case the finding was the seal around the Air Intake Control Valve. Our 4Runners have this valve BUT it’s molded into the upper air intake manifold plenum. You would have to replace the seal or the whole plenum. I should note that I have literally replaced or repaired every single thing that is known to cause these codes.

Now I’m asking the smart folks on this forum if this is plausible and does anyone have direct experience with it?
