not sure what I found

I was replacing my speakers and found something odd on the drivers side post between the front and rear door I hope its not for the airbag, I found a flat tape kinda thing it was stuck to a sticky foam, I wish i had my camera but the best I can describe it is there is a wire going into this flat part about 1 1/2" wide and about 7" long the top is black but the bottom has a copper zig zag spaced about 1" apart and then goes back to a wire then is capped with a rubber cap I put it back best I could and had to get the truck back together since it was late I m hoping if anyone has seen this and can tell me what it is for :shrug:

looks like an antenna lead or something fiber optic. if it was anything to do with the airbag it would be yellow.

Definitely some type of antenna. Probably an antenna for a Lojack.

I did a search for Lojack antenna and there sure aren't many pictures of them except on police cars. I did see the identical antenna on a M3 forum and one member says that it is is a lojack antenna based on a google part number search.

I just re stuck it to the foam
