Now what ?

so check eng. , trac off , brake, abs lights up the dash. I took it to 4 places and all said it was the speed sensor. So I go and pay $111.98 for a new one. Check eng. light went off but everything else is on. Anyone have a clue what to look for now?

take it back to the shop and tell them that they did not effectively remedy the problem, and that they should work on the truck until the problem is resolved.

Did you actually clear the code or did you just let it go off by itself? If you dont manually clear the code, all the lites wont go off. If you dont have access to a scantool, pull the EFI fuse in the eng compartment for 20-30 secs and you should be fine

well , I pulled out the efi fuse , waited a Min. and started the truck up. The check eng. light went off, but the speedomater still doesnt work, abs light is still on as well as trac, brake

Try to find out what code exactly it is. Im not sure but yours may have a speed sensor on the trans somewhere and one built in to the speedo head.
