Well after spending a month gathering info in the FJ forum only to find out about the body crack/tears I switched to the 4Runner forums and did my pre-purchase homework.

Friday night I bought a 2010 TE Shoreline Blue w/ Nav/KDSS. I live in OKC and the truck was in Tulsa so I had to wait for them to bring it down and prep it.

I get to pick her up after work today.:zoom:

Well, when I got there to pick her up on Tuesday I noticed she had the Dunlops instead of the Duelers (not that either are any good). On Wednesday I went to Discount tire, they offered me $50 per tire on trade. I mentioned that others on the forum were getting $75, so they went up to $60. I said let me think about it and wandered around the store for a few minutes. The salesman came over and said they would do $75 if I would buy today. I said let me think a little more and they dropped the price of the new tires by $10 each. This got them down to the same price as Tirerack with shipping.

The tires weren't in stock so next Monday or Tuesday I will be getting new Revo 2's in stock size. The delay worked out, I have since found out that starting Sept 2nd you get a $100 American Express card from Bridgestone for buying a new set of Revos.:banana:

Oh, by the way, love the truck. The Shoreline Blue was a little darker than pics looked but is a great color, changes alot depending on lighting.

A little culture shock as I came from a 2006 Corvette.

Got the Revo's put on late Friday. Five mins after leaving it threw on of the weights. Took it back Sat morning and they got her fixed within 20 mins. Great tires far better than stock Dunflops and look better to.
