Need some advice on replacing Bank 2 Sensor 2 O2 sensor. I am still paying off my repair of $2,200 from last summers replacement of 2 cats and 1 sensor. Trying it myself this time but-
1. where is Bank 2 Sensor 2 located.
2. what is the best aftermarket brand to use.
3. will the check engine light go off on its own or do I need to take it to the dealership after i replace it.
Thanks -Any help is appreciated.

Bank 2 sensor 2 is driver side, post cat. The sensor is right behind the flange where the header connects to the intermediate pipe, and should be facing towards the center of the car. No specific brands really, so whatever you can afford with a warranty. Also, research the code you have a little more. It could be something like a lose gas cap, or some other leak. Crap like that happens alot.

After replacing the sensor, you have to get the code cleared. Go to a local Advance Auto, and they do check engine light clearing for free. If you dont have one, disconnect the battery and leave it off for a minute or so. As a last resort, call around for prices. You shouldnt be charged more than 10-20$ for clearing a simple code. The stealership will get you for 80-up to $120 for a simple diagnostic scan and clear.
