I have thought about checking into some headers myself but not really wanted to accidentally bite off more than I could chew, not that my reply was helpful at all...

OBX is usually a copy of another companies products. Which means find what company they copied on it and expect to see similar results, but not quiet as high of a gain. (they never seem to get it 100% perfect) The other thing w/ the OBX products is the material is usually on the thin side meaning expect some rasp to be added to the sound of your exhaust.

But they are cheap, what do you expect? order some heat wrap to go w/ them, that will cut down on the rasp.

I don't have first hand experience with OBX headers for the 3.4 but I do have experience with OBX products. I had one of their catback systems on both of my civics. I bought the first one because it was cheap, and then when I got my next civic I had to have the same exhaust. It fit good, looked good, and sounded AMAZING. I was constantly getting compliments on it and people asking what kind it was. I have nothing but good things to say about that exhaust, but that doesn't mean they get everything right. I know that their turbo manifolds have been known to have some issues.

That being said, are you forced induction? If not, don't waste your time. They are a pain to install, the gains will be minimal, and there a bunch of better things to spend $300 on.

Thanks guys for all the info! as for purchasing them I have a set; it was a gift. the material used it pretty nice 306 stainless welds are great my friend who is a professional welder in the marine industry says they look great. material is on the thin side I think. cant tell for sure nothing to compare with. the flanges are thick 1/2 inch thick. only problem is the gaskets are terrible some sort of metal fabric dont know for sure. looks like they would blow out with a SC and or corrode would have to have copper ones made. and jet hot coat them. the only reason for installing them is that I plan on installing super charger and that my entire exhaust has to be replaced.

IF you plan on going with a s/c then I think the headers are a good buy. Let us know how they do when you get them installed.
