Congrats! this makes me want to get my stock 4R up into the mountains...too bad i live in Chicago...

im also from chicago...i take my 06 v8 sport to indiana; the badlands off road park its about a 170 mile drive and the daily pass is $15

whenever i go there the ppl look at my truck and think im crazy and that itll never go up any of the dunes or hill. i definently proved them wrong

it would be cool if we could organize a t4r day there...so everybody in the midwest area lets organize something

I'm sure gatorgreg or Thai could speak better to this, but . . .

The mods are looking for nice 4Runners in action shots- they want scenery that displays the capabilities of the 4Runner, so typically that is outdoor scenes, off roading.

Pics look good. BTW, did you do the blacked out headlight mod? I want to do mine but all the DIY mods i see are from the 03-05.

Congrats! I honestly can say, I still can't get my 4Runner dirty. I know that's what it's meant for, but I like looking at mine (and especially the undercarriage) clean. Maybe when it's about a year old or two, then I'm going to get it dirty and post up pics and someday hoping to be T4ROTM.

Thanks but it's not blacked out, it just looks it but that will be a cool mod though.

Stock or not .....who cares its a nice runner on a nice adventure off road , who cares how hard or easy the trails are . I give kudos to clem18 for nice shots and a nice off road adventure, nice 4runner and using it for what it is meant for !!!!!

Falls is correct. Either nice scenery or a nicely modded 4runner or both.
