October Camping Trip #5- THE COVE!!!

This last week my husband purchased a hammock, a camp kitchen, a rotisserie, new chairs, and who knows what else... "for our camping trip in October"....

I think I may have finally broken him down... and he actually wants to go camping! HAH! I'm not exactly sure what he thinks he's going to put on the rotisserie.... but whatever.

I got home from work late last night to find a check for $100 in my mailbox. Written on the check; "Got Wood?"

This check came from the same squirrely dude that has paid for firewood for the trip 5 years in a row now!.

I have to abide by his wish to remain nameless, but how generous is that?

I'm bringing my DSLR and tripod. If I get enough photos/videos of everything I was planning on making a video.

We have the entire Camp 2 (South of the access road) so yes. It's nuts, but LOTS of people come from crazy distances for this trip! It is a lot of fun...

Even if we get 1000 people, the Cove could accommodate us, lol.

Well [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION], we will see how this goes. I went to change some oil today, and start a few other simpler mods before the Cove. BLAM, what started to appear as a small rear main seal leak has turned into oil, or tranny fluid (not the type you see on the corners in Baltimore, stay with me) all over the underside of the rig. It may have to undergo some more serious stuff. Going to try to not let it ruin this trip. I want to bend my new Shrockworks bumper like [MENTION=112177]4RnR Grl[/MENTION] did when she got hers.

I would like to go on record, that sometimes having the most amazing rig around...we all know that 3rd gens are the best.:gun5: It also means that sometimes you just have to do 3rd gen things....with your head in the dash...or something else disassembled.

We need all 5 gens together one year too!
