That's what I thought. Hopefully the sun will be low enough. we could always have everyone line up in front of the road on the grass, with the lake as the background. Might be nice.

I too was planning on bringing my DSLR ! I have three radio flashes (Canon if you shoot the same DSLR I'm happy to share them) and wanted to try cool lighting tricks with the flash behind trees and/or underneath vehicles etc. since they have built-in radios they don't need line of site to the camera or any other flash-trigger.
Looks like I will be learning how to better drive off-road AND how to take better pictures on this trip!
Off-roading and DSLR photography are the two, stupid-expensive hobbies I have gotten into over the past few years.

I shoot a Olympus E-5 not sure about the compatibility though. I'm a amateur hobbyist photographer. I have a lot to learn still. I'll bring my laptop and some dvds so we can compile and share photos.
