It gets better, tonight I removed my front diff actuator. I kept both vacuum lines and diff switch connected. I manually moved the fork back and forth, it was difficult at first but loosened up. Started the truck and shifted in and out of 4wd, it actuated as it should. So I know the vacuum side works along with the diff actuator and switch.
I stuck my hand inside the diff and manually moved the locking collar. I believe shifting the diff open and closed. I buttoned everything up, no leaks. But I still believe it is not in 4wd. I can't notice a change in steering and when the front end is jacked up, I can only manually spin one tire. Now I'm quite tired and my brain does not want to fully operate for me, but with both front tires off the ground and front diff engaged if I spin one tire the opposite should spin backwards correct? It's how the rear end works and all subies. Or would I be able to spin a tire with the rear end on the ground and center diff locked?
My regret for the night is not shifting the lock collar manually with the front end off the ground. To test the diff without the actuator. So I believe I will be re opening the diff.
When the front diff actuator is locked does that connect the diff to the front driveshaft? Or should the diff and driveshaft be connected already and the transfer case engages the front driveshaft and diff?
Thanks to everyone helping me figure this issue out. I really appreciate it.
