Odd gas question

Does anyone know how much gas it usually takes to fill up the 4th gens when the needle is at 1/4 full? I'm trying too see how accurate my gas guage is right now (there is a previous post about my problem). I would just divide the tank capacity by 4, but I don't know how much play there is past F and E. I was almost right on 1/4 the other day and it took me 14.6 gallons. I figure that is probably pretty close but want to check.

I just filled up yesterday from that exact mark and 15 gallons did it for me. Dunno if there is any tank size dif. in the V6/V8s, though I think there isn't....
