So I recently installed a backup camera and a Pioneer GPS module for the head unit in the truck. Everything seemed like it went smoothly, except now the heat/AC isn't working properly.
What happens is when I select a temperature setting with the AC on, I get hot air coming out of the vents until I set it to "LOW", at which point it starts blowing cold air from the AC. If I set it to any other temp, it blows hot air on all settings, with the AC light illuminated.
I'm wondering if something may have shorted out during the install, but I'm not sure where to start. Other things I've considered is that somehow the temperature control is no longer "calibrated", as in it doesn't recognize whether or not to blow hot or cold air at a specific setting, that its not getting enough power somehow, or that the temperature sensor for the cabin isn't working. AC compressor is coming on, and working fine. Any help appreciated!
