OK, so I want to give you for following scenario which just happened to me and I would like some input on what you think it might be.
Coming off the on ramp to highway speeds steering wheel is vibration free. I hit the brakes and I get a steering wheel vibration. I let off of the brakes and continue to drive normal and the steering wheel vibration continues.
So the fact that the vibration continued after I was done braking disproves the warped rotor theory. I have 165k miles on all suspension and steering parts except for shocks, springs, both wheels bearings (Edit: and new axles) and of course calipers and rotors.
So I am guessing tie rods?
thoughts?
