ODL bumper install, help w/turn signals please.

Installing a ODL front bumper on a 02 4Runner. When the supplied LED turn signals are wired-up they blink fast like a turn signal bulb is burnt-out. I'm thinking the stock turn signal relay is not getting enough draw or resistance from the LEDs.
I'm overdue for a vehicle inspection and not sure if it will pass. I left a message with ODL but of course it's Sunday, but I really need to get the vehicle on the road again. Any help will be great. I'll post pics tomorrow.

you should be fine, as long as all of your blinkers are actually blinking. you are correct however about the LEDs not giving the flasher relay enough draw/resistance... you can add resistors to mimic the stock draw but you should need it unless you want them to blink normal pace.

Thanks Kid. Yeah, I'll go for the inspection tomorrow. But you never know in The People's Republic of Massachusettstan. If I get a rejection sticker at least I'll have time to sort it out.

as far as i know the DOT reg states that you are reguired to have working turn signals, but says nothing about the rate they flash at which they flash.

you can get a different relay too, which i prefer fwiw as the resistors somewhat defeat the purpose of led's for me.
