If you could only buy one….OEM units are crazy priced via eBay resellers and typical outlets for part outs are extremely limited. Also, many are Canadian units and I am not clear if you actually get updates and US maps. All that and still crappy sound.

pricing is tad high on OEM units as for the updates there is a website to update the unit via download and use a usb drive. You'll get better value with an aftermarket unit and more features. The OEM look is nice and if you can find one on secondary market a reasonable price it might be worth it.
