OEM jack and tire tools - Quick Photo Request!

Can someone post a quick photo of underneath the rear passenger side seat where the stock jack and tools are located?

I'm trying to figure out how the jack is secured. Does it just sit in place, or is there a strap or hold down? My jack is just laying on its side, rattling around back there.

If you just expand the jack a little it will hold itself in place.

No strap just jack it up in the mount till its secured.

Haha, don't feel bad. I tried to snatch the jack out when I first got my 4runner. Didn't realize it was slightly expanded for atleast a minute of scratching my head.

If you have a trailer hitch and ball you can actually fit it under there too. Its a nice place to store it and i never hear mine rattle at all. I'll snap a picture tonight.

It's little comments like this I love about these forums. I never thought about putting my trailer hitch in there; fits with minimal hassle. I feel much better with it stashed there than shoving it in the side compartment of my cargo bay!

i put an actual 6 or 8 ton bottle jack in there, a 30' tow strap, and 150rounds of .40 ammo

I buy several OEM oil filters and spark plugs at a time, and keep a spare one of each under there. That way if I am on a road trip or out of town for an extended amount of time, and it is time to replace either, I have what I need.

I'm going to see if I can fit my hitch in there too. Thanks for the tip!

Man are you an idiot! I would never not be able to figure out something so simple. Oh wait. I almost replaced my rear window switch thinking it was broken until I realized that when I have the window lock button depressed, it also locks the rear window.

Where is this location you are talking about?

EDIT: I was confused, because I thought people were talking about some secret compartment by the hitch... I realize people are putting their hitch BALL under the seat.

Actually, this is the first time I've ever been wrong or did something even remotely stupid, so perhaps I overreacted a bit
