OEM Navigation - question/post pics?

I recently installed an E7019 navigation unit from a corolla in my 06 4runner SR5. Everything works fine, but it isn't exactly flush with the trim panel like my OEM single disc CD/radio was. The face of the navigation unit sticks out about a 1/4" or so. Is this how the factory navigation units look in 4runners and/or is it how the E7019 fits in 4runners? The only possible solution I could think of would be to see if I could mount the brackets more toward the face of the nav unit and I'm not even sure that is possible. I would have to pull the nav unit out and see if that would be possible. Don't want to go through the hassle if this is how the nav unit typically looks in the 4runner.

Could someone who has installed an E7019 (or any 4runner OEM nav) post pics or let me know if their nav unit is flush with the trim like their single disc CD/radio was?

I don't have an OEM installed anymore, and never had the E7019, so not much help there. But I did find this pic of when I had my E7008 installed. At this angle I guess it kinda shows how much it sticks out (as well as how dirty the screen was -GEESH!). I can't picture how bad yours is in my mind.
Have you taken any pics?

Was this plus and play? Did your 4Runner have JBL?

Yes, this was plug and play with the exception of the VSS, reverse, and parking brake wiring. My 4runner is nonJBL, which is the reason I went with the E7019.

Hey Mike. I don't think I ever even connected that plug when I had that unit installed. I was more concerned with trying to get the Lexus DVD changer to work with it.

I did hear that the rear audio unit is incompatible though.
