OEM PCV valve and grommet cost?

Drove to Ehrlich Toyota here in Greeley CO and they wanted $27 for the pcv valve, $11 for the grommet and $24 for the replacement vacuum line. Is this normal? I was surprised it was that high. Headed to NAPA now....

Wow, talk about a rip off.

However, the PCV hose if a form-fitted hose only sold by Toyota. You'll have to use generic vacuum hosing if you don't want to pay that much for it.

For the PCV valve and grommet, go to NAPA and pick them both up for about $6.

Prices should be something like this:

Valve (PN 12204-62010) MSRP $13.31, Online $9.68
Grommet (PN 90480-18001) MSRP $6.01, Online $4.30
Hose (PN 12261-62041) MSRP $14.23, Online $10.35

Looks like your dealer is adding an 80-100% markup over Toyota MSRP for those parts. I'd say they don't want your business...

Buying through your local dealer is always going to be more expensive than online pricing. With that said, when you have a small purchase like you're making, the savings on the parts is generally negated by the cost to ship it to you. Online sellers like Camelback Toyota offer free shipping when your order is $150 and above. So, if you can order other things that you know you'll use like oil filters, air filters, drain plug washers and maybe a larger purchase like LBJs, you can get free shipping.
