OEM Roof Rack with a Ladder

Just curious to see if anyone is running a ladder but still has the OEM Roof Racks?

I do not currently have the funds nor do I know if I would really use a Full Length Roof Rack, but do want the ability to get up on the roof to tie down Surf boards/SUP, etc...

If so, is it possible for you to post some pictures?

Gobi ladder is an easy install. You will want the upgraded lift struts as well and will also want to install some protective film behind the ladder.

I've never understood the replacing of struts. I had a Gobi ladder on my 2010 for 5 years with no issue and I know the guy who owns the truck now and still no issue with the hatch not being supported another 4 years later. Maybe I got lucky, just find it odd considering how damn hard it is to pull the hatch down with nothing on it.

I do! I love it. I go between an extended Yakima basket, a Yakima Skybox16, and a Yakima Skyrise tent, or naked pretty frequently.

That product scares me. I just know there will be a time when someone is in a hurry tying something off and forgets to take that out and slams their door shut.

There are a lot of rigs out there with a ladder but no roof rack. Looks good!

They're all over eBay also, Chinese product from the looks of it. I know there was a different one on kickstarter a while back came-up in a search... There's likely more than one incarnation of these things?
