OEM Stereo Upgrade

I recently traded my F150 for a 2010 SR5. I had upgraded the stereo in my truck to a double din touch screen unit with nav and the works. I'm really wanting to do the same in this 4Runner, but I'm OCD and love the factory look of the OEM touch screen nav systems. Provided I could get my hands on one, does anyone have any experience with installing a newer model's nav stereo receiver into an older model? i.e. a stock 2014 stereo into a 2010 model? Are the wiring harnesses all the same for the 5th generations and compatible for just a plug-&-play experience?

I appreciate any help! This is my first Toyota!

I read through most of that post prior to asking myself. I think I should've just posted the link. I'm trying to figure out if this '14 stereo will simply plug-n-play in my '10.
