OEM Timing belt kit price down to $184?

Is this true?
Seems like the seller got everything OEM (except water pump, which is AISIN)
I am going to do the T-belt on an 03 tacoma.

I thought the OEM water pump was an Aisin?

In any case I'm not too confident about the chart of vehicles this kit is compatible with. It goes from 2001 - 2004, which would include both 3rd gen and 4th gen trucks. Also includes 4.7L V8 engines, which can't be right.

My mom has a 2004 4Runner, and it does not have a 3.4L engine. It's a 4.0.

I'd carefully check all the part numbers to make sure it's the right kit for your truck. If so that is a good price.

Aisin is OEM for the water pump.
Listing includes fitment for 1996-2002 4Runner, 1995-2004 Tacoma which is correct, all had options of 5vz-fe/3.4
That being said, none of the packaging in that ad looks OEM. Genuine Toyota products have a 1 year warranty, this ad states 3 month warranty on their parts. Also, seller has a few negative reviews about this exact product and it not being OEM, but cheap Chinese parts. I personally would not buy it. A true OEM kit is closer to $300. Buy once, cry once.

Ah, ok, I thought the 5vzfe was not used past 2002 in any truck.

Too bad about the kit, would have been a good find if it was legit.

You can get the Aisin kit from Rock Auto for under $180.

I used this on my truck not too long ago, and it's legit.

Edit: That doesn't include the drive belts and seals like the eBay kit, so I guess that's where the $300 number is coming from.
