I think thy're off a tacoma? they were new,cheap,and hold my tires on just fine.

Picked up a set of OEM TRD Wheel 16x7.5s yesterday.

Stumbled across these wheels/tire combo set on cl the other day and called seller up rightaway. Asking price was $500 (which i thank is a good deal) after a little bit of negotiating brought it down to $450 then he didn't have change for a 10 and i had a 5 in my wallet ended up stealing them from him for $445. Can't wait to install :rockon::rockon:

Your rig looks clean! Thank you for sharing, I have a 1997 TR4 Limited, noticed you had a '99. Did you perform suspension work before it was totaled?

3rd gen sr5 2wd new wheels and tires stock suspension

New Mickey Thompson Classic III 16X8, 0-Offset, 4.5" Backspace. Falken Wildpeak AT3/w 265/75/16. Just fits on stock suspension with saggy rear, no rubbing. Discount tire was amazed they fit, had people cheering for me. Look awesome, many compliments. PS its a 2001 4runner

Mickey Thompson Classic III's 16X8, 0-Offset, 4.5" backspace. Falken wildpeak AT3/w 265/75/16 on stock 2001 4runner sr5, no lift, saggy rear. Perfect fit (real close thought), no rubbing. Love the tires too....

It's funny you say that i was looking at a set of level 8 17", color gunmetal that a guy from jersey was trying to sell on this site for a while bc i think gunmetal would look sweet with the millenium silver But could't let this deal slide. &#55357;&#56835;

My 98 Limited with OME 881/906+10mm and Spidertrax 1.25" Spacers on 2015 TrdPro 17x7" Bfg AT K/O2 285/70/17

I love the way this set up is. I just wish there was a way to get this profile without spacers. I bought a set of 17 TRD Off Road Tacoma wheels for my 98 Limited but after mounting them on the truck, they tucked in more than the OEM wheels and I just couldn't deal with it. Put them on the 99 SR5 and they look great! It has the smaller flares and the profile is perfect on it. I'll have to get a pic soon.

I forgot to post up the new alloys and tyres once fitted. I still haven't seen them on any other 4runner 4th gen, so either they are rare as rocking horse spit, or they're off a 5th gen or other Toyota. Supension setup in sig - Hankook Dynapro ATM. Tyres are really impressive - more road bias than the Falken Wildpeak AT3 on my old 2nd gen, but still plenty of bite in loose dirt (don't think mud would be too good though). Whatever offset the alloys actually are, I guessed at 1" hub centric spacers (based off 4th gen differences) and think the offset looks factory now, or maybe 1/2" out which is great.

I'd like to remove the sidesteps, but they still provide some slider protection with no sliders, especially when you disappear into hidden holes filled with shrubs at night. :madgrin:

A recovery rope and the old 2nd gen dragged her out this time, with barely a scratch. The steps were tight up against a boulder in the hole which would have ripped through the sill and door!

No, the 245's are actually a shorter tire. The overall difference is the 245/75/16's are 3.5mm smaller in diameter.

They'll run just fine!

2000-06 Tundra & Sequoia's - They come in Silver, Charcoal & Hyper Silver. Yes they fit as you see them on many 3rd gens in this thread.

You can look at my post on the previous page. I have a 2000 SR5 with the HyperSilver ones on it. They look great but im biased. Tire info is there as well.
