Off Highway trails near Blythe/Colorado river?

Forgive me for double posting from the off-roading section but I havent had any replies yet and my trip is coming up this weekend. Im hoping for better luck in the dedicated SoCal area.

Hey guys I tried searching but couldn't find anything so forgive if this is the millionth thread about this. The wife and I are doing a last second trip to the river this weekend and we want to go down some off highway trails and have some fun. My 4Runner has only been a mall crawler for her first 4k miles :jaw:. I have found some trails online at trails.com like the Sand Bowl and the Milpitas Wash Trail which seems pretty long at 30 miles. I will be coming down the 10 fwy (From LA area) to the 95 North up to the water wheel resort so any recommendations would be appreciated. And possible directions Im not sure if there are big visible signs or not? Thanks for your input!

BTW I do have 4X4

Unfortunately I don't have any advice because I never got to wheel out there. Blythe killed my 4runner. With that said, be careful with that heat man. If no one replies, maybe try investing in a trail guide book. I know there are some good ones out there

Thanks I'll definitely be getting a trail book. And ya this heat is crazy I won't try to go crazy.

I ended up going to the Wiley Well trail. It was a lot of fun. Nothing crazy but the Wife and little guy really liked it.I will embarrassingly admit I got stuck on a small hill of soft dirt and put it in 4Lo to pull out lol. Below are a few pics I took. My camera died from the River so only my good ol Nexus 6 was charged. Onto the pics:
