Jared- I went with ODL cuz I believe its a much better value, the shrockworks I wanted was like 1400$ without shipping and that's crazy, plus ODL is 30min from my house so Jimmy can do the install for me, and I plan on running some other ODL Armor so I want to try to keep it all the same, and its a full hoop and powder coated black!

To the others- as far as the OEM Toyota fog light switch do I need to get an additional wiring harness or just that plug and run my own wire from the lights and do they splice into the plug? Or how does it work? Thanks

if you wanna pay for nice rocker switches you can go to OTRATTW. Some minor trimming is required. Or a place called Oznium. You can get the scion ones and they fit perfectly. Good luck. PS, truck looks good!

The factory rocker switches have the standard blade connector on the back so you can make your own wires and run them to them. I will see if I still have one of mine uninstalled and take a picture for you. I got mine from Toyota of Dallas for just over $8 but I bought three since I had 3 sets of lights I was going to be running.

What lights do you plan on running in the bumper? I was going to go with PIAA's but decided to go with the Vision X VX-T1000 IONS since Outdoor Logic now carries them and for less then half the price of the PIAA's I thought it was worth it

Basically if you get the illuminated type OEM switch, there are three prongs in the back, one goes to the ground for the switch' illumination, one goes to the relay(advisable) that connects to the load- in this case your fog's, and the last one connects to the accessory- ignition, headlights....etc.

thanks for the info blck, does anyone have a pic of 2 OEM Fog light switches mounted right next to each other, i want a separate switch for my lights in the actual bumper and the ones that i will mount on top, pike as far as the lights go i hadn't really thought about the ones that are going to go in the bumper, let me know how those work out and i will see if jimmy can fab up the mounts for those, on the top thought i have some Hella rally lights im going to mount, i have two different sets to pick from just some standard 6" lights or i think there 9" pencil beams! i will try to get some pics and post them up tomorrow night. Thanks for the info

thanks pike that looks great exactly what i want to do, hopefully mine will turn out as good as yours, maybe i can get you to give me a hand when i get all parts, and when im back in cali! thanks for all the help.

No worries, I will gladly give a hand to you or any other local. Not the best with electrical but can do most other stuff. The switches litterally just pop in place though so yours will turn out the same. I know someone that works at a trophy shop and thinking of having him make little plates to put above the switches. I saw that he had them on his truck and it looked good.

I got a couple of the scion swtches from oznium and like mentioned they fit perfectly. Hey Isaac, tell us more about that switch bank you have, im out of blanks and was gonna try to cut 4 small ones into that larger knockout but have no idea how i could do it.

tmax i got these at my local auto parts store. they were like $4 ea. i think. i intended to go this route since i was out of knockouts to use and i figured if i screwed it up i could always replace that bigger knockout.

edit: a couple pics of what im talking about, i know i cant be the only person out of switch locations, op you will be there soon enough too i bet lol.

you will cut up that little block out plate and it will brake on you... i just stole mine from a truck in iraq while i was overseas... thanks every one for paying for mods on my runner with your tax dollars LOL but no seriously you can find them on ebay for fairly cheap but im sure someone somewhere else has them even cheaper! Switch Mounting Bracket - ARB, Driving / Fog lights | eBay there thats a link to one just like mine. i cut out the spaces bellow the factory seat heater switched to install mine and it works wonderful!

Yeah i was afraid id mangle that plastic so i never tried. So is that 3 switch bank like a universal size cuz it looks like it fits perfectly in that space? I'm trying to keep to as oem looking as possible and that looks like money. I guess i could have measured that amd called around, duh...
