off road trails near tuscon az?

I'm heading down to Tucson this weekend and I was wondering if there are any good trails down there.

X2 on the gap. Or there's a lot of trails in the redington pass area like chiva falls or chimney rock.

Something simple would be back way up mt lemmon. The paved way down is the more interesting part though. Still a nice drive for the day. Might see some snow. Southern most ski lift in usa are up on mt lemmon.

If I were u I would order this book on amazon tonight (if you have prime you can get it by friday). The only easy trails listec in the book that are 'near' tucson are back way up mt lemmon and tucson wash.

The back way to Mt. Lemmon is closed in the winter, so that's a no go. But Tucson Wash was a nice, simple, and scenic trail. I did it in mid-December and I'd recommend it if you're looking for an easy afternoon ride. It's on the far North part of town tho.
